I found this in the 520 forum. If you turn your Hi contrast on, "it is in settings, then ease of access". Your lock screen will look like this:

You do realize you could change the theme, right? Well, if you did this only to get rid of that pink theme.

On a side note, that lockscreen reminds me of the N9.

I don't fool with the phone much. It is sort of my first cell phone. I had/have a clunky Samsung from 4 yrs ago thatI play solitare on. I really hated that phone's sound quality. I kind of figure out something new every few days. My kids are amazed that I have actually sent out a text or two.
