Phone Locks up when trying to download large apps

For the first time, im experiencing a weird bug where my phone freezes. I recently tried to install the trial version of NBA Jam while I was at home and on WiFi. I noticed my WiFi completely dropped and would not reconnect. When I checked the download progress, I noticed the "Attention Required" notification which then told me it was too big to download over the LTE network. I went into setting and manually turned WiFi on and attempted to reconnect to the home wifi. As soon as it connected the phone just freezes. I have duplicated this process at work ont the wifi here.The only app i've tried was the NBA Jam

My phone doesn't lock up but it simply never completes installation. It asks to tap for attention and it reattempts a download and reinstallation. Might be a Microsoft issue and we need to contact them. I have the same issue with Metrotube and this app called omgTANGRAM.
