8S Newbie

Bought myself the HTC 8S Windows Phone as I liked the look an feel of it, but for some reason when ever I listen to music the phone locks up .. I am using a 32gb SDHC card.

Any ideas as I am soooo frustrated by this as when it works the quality of the music is stunning.

Welcome to WPCentral! I probably won't be able to be of too much help seeing as how I don't have an 8s, but I thought I would get some information that might assist those who can help. What brand/model of SDHC card are you using? Some have known compatibility issues. Are you playing music that is stored on the card, or on the internal memory? Have you tried loading music to internal memory to see if it will work? I don't know if you can take the SD card out after you've put it in (you couldn't on my old Samsung Focus), but IF AND ONLY IF you can, give that a shot?

I have the HTC 8s and it is just a bog standard unbranded sdhc card.

The music is stored on the card due to the lack of internal storage space and I haven't played from internal memory for that reason.
