How do you quickly stop Nokia Music app when it is playing a song?

I love Nokia Music and is probably my most used app on the 521. However I have a question. I know that the music can play in the background while I am doing other things on the phone. But I haven't figured out a quick way to stop the music if I need to. The only way I know how to do it is to press the volume up and down button which brings up the control for the music player which I then use to pause the music. I am thinking that is not the most straight forward way to do it. Is there a more elegant way to stop the music?

There is an app called "stop music" it adds an tile on your home screen and immediately stops when you touch

The volume button press is the quickest by far. If the phone is off, just hit power button to see the controls. I don't think it's any easier in ios or android.

Another way that has made it stop for me is pulling out my headset. Obviously only works if listening on a headset, but it stops it quickly.
