What do you mean by "Sim free"? As far as I know all 521s sold through US retail stores like Best Buy, Target, Walmart, Radio Shack, etc come with a T-Mobile micro sim inside the plastic packaging and are locked to T-Mobile.

I was eyeing for Lumia 925 past few days and could not pass this deal. I've been a long time Nexus user from Nexus One and I wanted to try something new. So far I am loving it but I have a feeling that I will end up getting 925.

So far my favorite is how the phone doesn't have lag and keyboard is better than any other I used.

idk how Nokia does things but 525 can be different carrier specific. Also it was one day deal at BB.

Took me less than 2 months to go from a 521 to a 925. The upgrades in hardware and features are very nice, but may be hard to justify for the budget conscious. For a "cheap" smartphone., the 521 really delivers.

The 520 on AT&T GoPhone debuted at $99, so even though the 521 was ~$120 on T-Mo, this isn't exactly a fire sale.

it might take less than a week. Its not a budget issue... 10/22 event makes me hold on but also same time I feel like it will take months for T-Mobile to get a new device..,

Rehashing a old thread here, but i would be willing to upgrade if the next 521 had a front facing camera... Or if there was some big performance upgrade. Having said that, i feel like the phone is great.

Only issue is service at timea, but wifi calling gets around this

You might like it.
They are easy to put on.
