Came across upon a post on the Swedish Nokia Facebook page regarding a little story about a Nokia Lumia 800 that went missing in a lake for about 3.5 months. Was later found between two rocks during low tide.
The man took the phone home and started to clean it, the best that he could. The screen was covered in shells, and some kind of green goo around the whole phone, along with some other goodies. He let the phone dry on a radiator and later on plugged in the charger, with the thoughts of that the electricity would go off in the house or that the charger would stop working.
Imagine his surprise, as it booted up as usual! Everything worked as before, the camera worked great, the battery life lasted about two days, and so on.
