Just a small question

My employer has a Samsung Focus. Recently, she started having issues with. It will not download e-mails or show any changes (such as to her calendar or address book) until the phone is turned off and then back on. I was wondering if anyone knew why this is happening?

I've told her to turn her phone off and then back on every morning, but I'm not sure that will fix the problem. Any help is greatly appreciated. :smile:

Oh, also phone calls are going straight to voicemail when this happens.

It might be worth trying to reset the phone.

How to reset the Samsung Focus

To perform a soft reset on the Samsung Focus, Hold down the power button. This will save all apps and data.
To perform a hard reset and return the Samsung Focus to it's retail state: warning - this will erase your data.


Option 1:
1. Dial ##634# from the phone keypad
2. Press the call button when the diagnostic screen appears and enter *2767*3855# to preform a full restore.

Option 2:
Hold down the Power button + Volume down button +Camera button at the same time.

Option 3:
1. Go to the Start screen
2. Choose Settings.
3. Choose the About screen
4. Select 'reset your phone'
