Can anyone help. I've had my phone nearly a year and never had a problem with it.
About a week ago it just turned itself off. When I pressed the power button it buzzed and then went to the "htc quietly brilliant" white screen for about 5 seconds and then just went blank. HTC and orange suggested sending it off for repairs, but two days later I pressed the power button and it came back on as usual.
It then worked for two days and this morning the same thing has happened again!
Factory reset doesn't work.
Someone suggested to me to do a software update. I had one pending on my phone which I tried to install last night (after deleting some apps to increase memory), and it downloaded ok but I got an error message saying it couldn't install (think the error code was something like 8007..but I didn't take a note of it).
I would be grateful for any ideas.
