Alternative Charging idea - USB to 2.5mm

I have read where the charging port for the 2520 is 2.5mm. Does anyone think a USB to 2.5mm charging cable would work coupled with a high powered USB charger? What are the exact innner and outer dimensions for the charging port? I might give it a try.

This will not work, you need at least close to 20 volts, not 5...
