Logging screen locks up?

Does anybody have any trouble sliding up on the home screen to login? Mine seems to lock up and not let me slide it up.

The problem is the touchscreen. Mine has the same problem, and now the whole tablet is useless.

I have this problem too. Its so frustrating. I might try contacting Lenovo on it, but I'm not the original owner and have no proof of purchase as far as warranty goes, we'll see.
