Gestures not working?

So, I've had a lot of trouble with my 2520. It's made me regret even buying it at this point. So the problem I am having right now is I tap the screen and it doesn't know what I am doing. I try to swipe up when I wake it up, and it won't work. Swipe from right to left to get the start charm. I can be on IE on YouTube and choose a video and it doesn't actually choose the link. I've tried reset and reload everything but it doesn't seem to work. Any idea's?

this has happened to me a few times, just restarted and it fixed itself.

That's what I've been doing to. I'm really regretting buying this tablet :'(

I had the same problem and felt the same way when I first got mine. Even bought a Surface 2 in anticipation of getting rid of my 2520. Decided to do a reset and all was good. Took back the Surface 2 yesterday. ��

Is the screen clean? This was happening when I first got my tablet because there is no oleophobic coating on the screen. Eventually I got a IllumiShield oleophobic screen protector and I had no issues after.
