Artist on background while listening to music

Hi guys,

Me again. This might me a dumb question but how do you get a photo of the artist on the background of lock screen while listening to a song of him/her? I know there is a setting in settings, lockscreen, show artist on lockscreen. Ive turned it on but when I play a song like 50 cent for example, the screen is gray. I sync through Windows Phone desktop app on my computer an the music on my desktop app is coming straight from iTunes. Is there anyone who can help? I know u could do this through Zune but thats only for Windows 7... Pls help

Which OS are you running on the phone? WP8 or WP8.1?

If you are running into this problem with WP8 then use MPAtool to fix the artist meta-data.

If you are running WP8.1 then your out of luck for now until MS puts out an update to Xbox Music for the lockscreen.

Zune can run on Windows 8 just fine just like 7, but won't work with Windows Phone 8
