way to tell what a update is?

i bought a 2520 off someone ran windows update says there is a firmware update, is the update stable or should i avoid it for now? thanks

its likely to be stable, since its likely gone through testing beforehand, and the older it is, the higher likelihood its safe.

In general though, its safe to just let Windows Updates do its thing.

Just like a laptop, tablets seem to have more updates then phones so it will be common to get regular updates

when I bought my 2520 from the MS store, it took about 4 hours to update with all the updates. getting it up to speed was well worth it, though, because it meant the nokia camera was more useful.
