Many of our Lumia 625 users experience the Problem that the phone restart/resets while being carried in the pocket or sometimes over night. After that, the date and time Setting always resets.
After some digging in forums we found out that the 625 (or some of them at least) suffer from the Problem that Holding the power button for at least 7 seconds resets the phone (without swiping down or Holding any of the volume Buttons) including time/date resets. This explains the restart in the pocket. But it is still an error in my opinion. And no solution for or the random restarts over night so far.
About 20 - 30% of our lumia users have this Problem. We currently try to get the phones replaced but i dont know if that will solve anything. Has anyone found a more permanent solution without changing to a different model?
About the Versions of Windows phone, Firmware, System applications, that does?t really matter. We have the Problem on phones with black update or with Cyan update. It happens on the older WP 8.0 builds, with 8.1 developer builds and with 8.1 final. It happens with old System applications and when all are manually updated. Hard/Soft Resets and even reflashing with the Nokia Software Updater for Retails achieved nothing.
