Cortana/8.1 on Samsung ATIV Odyssey SCH-i930

I have been trying to find the answer out to this question for quite some time now ...
I currently own the Samsung ATIV Odyssey SCH-i930 which runs on Windows 8.
My question is will this phone ever be able to get Cortana or Windows 8.1? I understand that you need windows 8.1 in order to run Cortana so will there one day be a update so I can update my phone from 8 to 8.1 then get Cortana.
I have also read that it is available for the developer preview or something. HAs anyone tried to get it with the Samsung Odyssey?
I pretty much just want to know if I will be able to get Cortana one day on the phone listed above. PLEASE HELP ME.
If so does anyone have any idea when this update will be available?

I have no clue if they'll ever officially update it, but I installed 8.1 on my mom's through the developer preview and it's quite buggy. It even ghost calls people now. I'm really hoping for an official update.
