I have a 521 on Preview and an 810 that is stuck on original Software/Firmware. I found a Lumia 810 on: OS version:8.0.10327.77 Firmware: 3043.0000.1326.0017. Will I be able to run Preview on this phone???

DP can run on any phone :) Keep in mind it could potentially void your warranty, but that's only if you don't remember to remove the app before bringing the phone back to the shop :winktongue:

It wont run on my 810 without the Amber Update. I just want to be sure it will run on the above Software/Firmware.

The 8.0.10327.77 means that the phone is on Amber yes :) Sorry, I did not understand the question

How about keeping your original 810 and flashing it with a ROM from a different region that already has the Amber update? You could do that with Nokia Care Suite

The 810 was exclusive to T-Mobile US, so it's just one region, one ROM. Secondly the 810 was never updated to Lumia Black and would never will so updating to developer preview is the only way to get OS updates

Did not know it was T-Mo exclusive; thanks

THanks. I thought so, but after the Amber fiasco I wanted to be sure. I love my 810 and don't want to ditch it for a 925 ( better phone I know, but my 810 and the one I found are almost perfect) T Mobile guy tried to get me into a 635. but it seems to be inferior in every way other than 4g LTE.

Stick with the phone that works for you  I was looking at a 635 to hold me over until the end of next year, but I went with a 920 instead.. Old model, I know, but it had everything I wanted and was cheap lol

Yes it was a very nice and solid phone till I owned it. T-Mobile decided not to support it and I learnt my lesson, no more carrier exclusive devices since then for me.
