why transcend 16 gb class 10 memory card not work in nokia lumia 525?

i buy a transcend 16 gb class 10 memory card.when i insert in my nokia lumia 525, it does not shows photo, folder and whatsapp folder in album?every time i open file manager and show the folder....what is the problem plz help any body

Did you format it in your phone before you started to use it?
If you place it in the cardholder from your PC can you "see" something on it.
If your SD card also does not work in your PC the card may be defect and you probably could get a new one because it should have warranty.
Are you sure you did not buy a fake card. ( this sometimes happened)
