Why doesnt the p button work on touchscreen of lg optimus 7 phone

I cannot get this to work on my phone, being like this for a year i use the phone as a secondary phone. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks

Do you mean the Search button? One of the capacitive buttons shaped like a magnifying glass?




I mean you say BUTTON and TouchScreen it makes me think either the Search (which sort of??? looks like a P) or the letter P on the virtual keyboard, but why would the letter P only go out on the keyboard?

If it is the Search button you may have a loose cable or the actual part could be broken and it is a hardware repair.

Touchscreen? You've got a really picky damaged touchscreen.

I think OP may be talking about the keyboarded LG phone, so in that case, something is up with the keyboard and you probably need hardware repair or cleaning of since kind.

hi,

Thanks for reply what i meant is the p letter on the touchscreen does not work i.e. when i compose a msg or entering a password for wifi.
