Sorry but you can't. Wp7 is build on a different kernel. Wp7 hardware can't work on the renewed wp 8x kernel. Wp7 is build on the outdated CE kernel and wp8x is leaning more on Win NT. So that's the reason your device cant never work on WP 8x nor on Win Mobile 10. If you want WP 8x or Win Mobile 10 you have to look for another device.

All Windows Phone 7 hardware is stuck on 7. This was a big fiasco around the launch of WP8, but it is what it is and we can't change it.
