I must say, HDR is one of my most used photography techniques! Anyway, here goes...

Taken with a Nokia Lumia 820, HDR Photo Camera app, with in-app edit as I recall.
Back story - In short, it was taken during my last ski trip in Italy - as you can see, there was practically no snow in that part of the Alps (Val di Sole) during december 2013, and the temperatures were about 10-15C during the day. But in one part of the valley, a strange phenomennon happened one day - cold air was trapped on the valley floor, causing quite a picturesque effect

This photo was shot in the afternoon near an german restaurant.
After eating i walked around searching for some nice places with my 1020 and found a little pavillon in front of the amazing sunset.
For the great HDR look i used the exposure latitude of the Nokia Pro Cam. Afterwards i merged the three photos into one HDR in Photoshop CS6
And added the final touch in Lightroom.

This was shot on my old Lumia 920 using HDR Photo Camera and edited with HDR Photo Camera. HDR mode was the regular 3-shots-and-then-combined.

Just after some heavy rains, I noticed this scene outside my window. Somehow, the glow of the dusky sun was really strong and so I quickly HDR-ed it.

I've posted the pictures below in another thread, but thought it relevant to repost here on this HDR thread. Strictly speaking these are not traditional HDR images per se, more like single-exposure HDR solutions used in many camera apps nowadays.

These images are all taken with the Lumia 1020 in 5MP JPEG mode, and modified in Adobe Photoshop Express app to lift the shadows and lower the highlights. The really nice thing is that these are quite simple to do and can be done on the phone itself.

Just registered to enter into the contest!
Took the picture using my Lumia 1020 at Lake Eklutna just north of Anchorage, AK during a last week. Used Proshot HDR mode to take the picture.
I like the natural colors in my pictures rather than over processed HDR images which can make the picture sometime look good, but unnatural!

This summer I graduated and my friends gave me a trip to Greece. I have been in Crete, then to Santorini, Mykonos and then finally in Kos. Out of curiosity I went to see the Paradise beach (Mykonos). As soon as I arrived, there was a big stink of alcohol and so I walked a little further away where no one was there and I saw this beautiful scenery. a boat left there, the clouds dispersed in the sky and these fantastic colors. I had to take a picture!
