Microsoft sold 9.3 million Lumia Windows Phones worldwide last quarter

Microsoft announced today that it sold 9.3 million units of its Lumia Windows Phone products in the quarter that ended on September 30. That's a 5.6 percent increase compared to the 8.8 million Lumia phones that were sold in the same period a year ago when Microsoft's phone hardware division was under Nokia.
