Microsoft has grand plans for HoloLens, which include ushering in a new category of hardware driven by holograms.
In an interview with The New York TImes, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella revealed that HoloLens played a major role in the purchase of Minecraft for $2.5 billion earlier this year, with the game touted as the ideal platform for showcasing the capabilities offered by the hardware:
