NPD Group has released its monthly sales figures for the console market, and while no specifics numbers were disclosed for individual console sales, Microsoft is touting an impressive increase in Xbox One sales of 51% year-over-year for June.
As mentioned above, no specific numbers were given for individual console sales, but NPD notes that total hardware sales were up 8% to $313.1 million. Unfortunately, despite its impressive growth, Xbox One sales were once again outshone by the Playstation 4, which took the lead largely on the back of Batman: Arkham Knight console bundles.
