    HTC has announced the debut of its virtual reality storefront, Viveport, which is set to rollout out to HTC Vive owners later this year. While Valve's Steam platform will still serve as a central hub for virtual reality games, Viveport will diverge into a more varied range of content.

    Accessible via the HTC Vive's Home, Viveport will serve as a customizable gateway to educational content, as well as entertainment-based experiences that take advantage of the hardware.
