HP exec says Elite x3 plans scrapped because of Microsoft's change of heart in mobile

The decline of Microsoft's mobile efforts has led HP to abandon its plans to bolster the Elite x3 with an expanded ecosystem.

In late September, a rumor emerged that HP was planning to kill off its Elite x3 in November.
