Xbox One X has been out for a few days now and while many gamers are loving their new console, it seems that those using its 4K Blu-ray player are at a major disadvantage.
The Xbox One X launched on November 7, 2017 and is the most powerful console ever made. The device features 6 TFLOPS of processing power and 12 GB of GDDR5 RAM. In addition to that, the Xbox One X also contains a 4K Blu-ray player and offers a faster hard drive.
While games look great on the machine, videos don't. According to a report by
Forbes, the problem is the raised black levels when playing high dynamic range (HDR) videos. Nighttime scenes look much brighter than they should because of this. We were able to test this out and noticed the same problem. The sky in many scenes was noticeably brighter and almost looked grey.
