Destiny 2 is a first-person shooter from Bungie, the original developers behind the Halo and Marathon franchises. While the team's shared-world shooter was incredibly popular at launch, it has since witnessed heavy drops in player engagement. Due to this, Activision and Bungie also parted ways, and it looks like the studio is trying out new business models.
