The WD Elements 4TB USB 3.0 desktop hard drive is down to $77.84 on Amazon. We first saw this drive drop to $80 in late June and that was a new low at the time. This price is a few bucks better and an even newer low. When not on sale, it averages around $90.

The desktop drive is simply plug-and-play. It uses USB 3.0 ports, so all you have to do is connect it and begin transferring whatever you want. It is compatible with Windows and Mac, but you'll need to reformat it for the latter. Users give this series 4.4 stars based on over 1,200 reviews.
