    What you need to know

    [LIST][*]Today, Epic Games revealed Unreal Engine 5 for next-generation consoles and other devices.[*]The demo showcased stunning gameplay.[*]Unfortunately, the resolution was "1440p most of the time."[*]Hopefully, the PlayStation 5 will be able to output at a higher resolution consistently even with advanced effects.[/LIST]
    Today, we got our first look at Unreal Engine 5 running on PlayStation 5 (PS5). Unfortunately, it looks like it only supported 30 frames per second (FPS), featured no ray-tracing support, and rendered at "1440p most of the time."
