I've been thinking about getting rid of desktop and upgrade my Surface RT with a new Surface Pro 3 (or whatever will be newest at the time). Then get myself a HDMI-ready screen, wireless KB/mouse and basically just "dock" the thing when I get home and use it as the on-the-go machine when on the go :P Just pretty expensive, so I might just wait till I graduate and get into work life before doing this jump
