    Hewlett-Packard is recalling around 6 million computer power cables after numerous reports of said cords melting or charring were received from consumers. The LS-15 AC power cord was distributed with both HP and Compaq notebook computers and AC powered accessories from September 2010 through June 2012. Affected cables are in the US and Canada.
