Trapster calls it a day, shutting down by the end of the year

Trapster has announced that it is shutting down by the end of the year after unpublishing its mobile apps earlier this week. Once boasting as many as 20 million users, the service alerted users to nearby speed traps, DUI checkpoints or road hazards by leveraging crowdsourced information.
