Rudy Huyn's long dormant app TVShow grabs rare update for Windows Phone

Besides making his 6 series of apps, Rudy Huyn has long had another app on Windows Phone called TVShow. The app lets you pick your favorite show, track its episodes, air dates, synopsis and more. The app even has some nifty lock screen action and as usual, comes with the excellent visual design we expect from Huyn.

It's a great app and I'm all for supporting wp devs. So I decided to upgrade from TVShow Lite. I opened the app on my Lumia 920, clicked on 'unlock full version' in the app, pay the 1.49. I thought it would update my current app, remove ads and whatever else comes with the full version. Instead it seems to have just installed a separate second app. Now I still have my tile for TVShow (Lite) with all my shows programmed on it, nothings changed, and then there's another TVShow app in my app listings. Really? I have to completely set up a new app, add all of my shows all over again!
