WhatsApp's web extension ? through which you can send and receive messages directly from your browser ? currently works on Chrome, Firefox, Opera and Safari (on the Mac), with official support not yet available for Microsoft Edge or Internet Explorer. That's set to change shortly, as a Microsoft program manager revealed that discussions were underway in bringing WhatsApp Web to the Edge:
