Back before CES, there were some reports of a new version of WRITEit from Lenovo. The software augments the Windows experience by letting users write anywhere with a pen or even a finger in text boxes without the giant handwriting pop-up window.

Lenovo has now pulled back the curtains on WRITEit 2.0, and it is available to download starting tomorrow (although you can get the old version now). Unfortunately, the app is still locked to just Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga, ThinkPad Tablet 10, ThinkPad Helix and Yoga Tablet 2 with AnyPen devices.
