Microsoft confirms new hiking features and Explore tile coming to Microsoft Band 2

Microsoft has confirmed earlier reports that it will release an update for the Microsoft Band 2 this week. It will add a new Explore tile to the fitness wearable, along with features aimed at hikers.

I just got the e-mail from MS, and the App looks fantastic. From the video it looks much more feature rich than most other tiles, like tracking route visually & setting waypoints on the Band. 12 hr tracking and the ability to do things I didn't know the Band could do (like Lat & Long). I can't wait.
