Resident Evil 7 will support 1080p resolution and 60 FPS on Xbox One, HDR on Xbox One S

Upcoming first-person Xbox One horror game Resident Evil 7 will achieve visual parity with its PS4 counterpart.

Notoriously, many multiplatform games have failed to reach resolution parity between the PS4 and Xbox One, with Xbox usually missing out. The situation has been steadily improving in recent years, however, with more and more developers utilizing dynamic scaling to offset performance issues caused by intense scenes. Thankfully, Resident Evil 7 will be among those titles properly optimized for Xbox One hardware.
