Star Wars Battlefront II launches this year, capitalizing on the success of the series' reboot back in 2015.
The original Battlefront launched in 2004 and remains a fond memory for many Star Wars game fans. EA rebooted the franchise with Battlefield aficionados DICE in 2015, to mixed praise and runaway sales success.
For what Battlefront (2015) lacked in complexity and depth, it made up for with stunning, authentic environments, and accessible, casual gameplay. Still, many long time fans (myself included) felt it could have been a lot better.

My main criticisms in our review focused on the game's depth, and famous lack of story content. One would think the Star Wars universe would be ripe for some narrative, but EA felt otherwise. Thankfully, it looks like they've heard the feedback loud and clear.
