Microsoft and Baidu partner to spread autonomous car tech outside of China

Microsoft has announced an extension of its partnership with Chinese tech firm Baidu to help scale its autonomous car platform outside of China.

i was thinking that microsoft was going to develop its own technology for shelf driving cars or acquire some company that is already doing it. there are already so many companies doing development of shelf driving cars and i was strangely seeing Microsoft not doing it. it was a bit weird for me. they used to stay ahead of the others or at least in line. hope that with this partnership Microsoft will succeed.
