Microsoft says rebrand to Autumn Creators Update was a mistranslation error on its UK, India, Australia and New Zealand websites.
Last week, we reported that Microsoft had changed the name of the Fall Creators Update in countries where the word "fall" isn't used to "Autumn Creators Update" instead, afte rmuch feedback from Insiders and fans from outside the United States. Today however, it appears this will not be the case, citing a mistranslation error between English and... English.

English problems. LOL! I'm North American and I honestly think that Autumn does make more sense than "fall" which gives an impression that something is physically falling. Yes, context plays a big role here, but still. Maybe we should all start speaking the original England English, but then again, the American would refuse to adapt to the change!

Only kidding! It's just so fun to poke fun at America's nature sometimes. :grin:
