Forza Horizon looks stunning on an Xbox One X with the upgraded resolution.
Microsoft recently upgraded the original Forza Horizon for Xbox One X by increasing the resolution to native 4K. This was confirmed in an analysis by Digital Foundry. The title runs at 720p on Xbox 360 and Xbox One through backward compatibility. The game was already stunning to begin with, but now looks unbelievably crisp on a 4K display.
Not only that, but the anti-aliasing resolution eliminates jaggy edges and gives the racing game a very smooth appearance. While the frame rate is still locked to 30 FPS, the visual upgrade should bring fans back.
