We've been seeing sporadic reports of the Xbox One X making "weird" noises, and a discussion in our forum is currently taking place surrounding them.
While few of us at Windows Central have experienced odd noises with our Xbox One X units, personally I've heard loud fan noises when the Xbox is under heavy load, particularly when running less optimized games.
Forum user CookiesAndCoke has reported that he's hearing humming and buzzing sounds coming from his fresh Xbox One X, and we wondered if you'd heard similar.

It would be helpful if the "Full Story" had a link to the forum entry!

I use to have my Xbox One (original Xbox One) set for fast startups. Now I don't because there is always a fan or drive still spinning. Has to be a bug with Xbox. I do have an external drive made for the Xbox One, but it should know if the Xbox One is powered down if that is what is making the noise.
