AMD unveils Threadripper 2: 32 cores, 64 threads, 250W TDP

Threadripper 2 will have 32 cores and 64 processing threads.

Intel announced that it will launch a 28-core CPU sometime later this year, and AMD is launching its own salvo with the second-generation Threadripper, which will have an astounding 32 cores.
