Microsoft has announced Gears of War 5, with Kait Diaz set to be the new main protagonist.
Microsoft has taken the wraps off the next major entry in its Gears of War franchise, with two new reveal trailers. Gears of War 5 shifts its focus to Kait Diaz, diving deeper into her background with a continuation on 2016's Gears of War 4.
Currently, we know the game will offer single-player, local co-op, online co-op across its campaign, offering the "biggest, most beautiful" experience in the series. Gears of War 5 will also be enhanced for Xbox One X, supporting 4K resolution and High Dynamic Range (HDR) at 60 frames per second (FPS).
