Samsung is entering the Always-Connected PC market with its Galaxy Book2 featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon 850.
Samsung has unveiled the Samsung Galaxy Book2; the second revision of its 2-in-1 Windows 10 tablet. Following its predecessor's 2017 debut, the new revision doubles down on mobility, joining the growing range of Always Connected PCs. While derivative of the original, Samsung has adopted the new Snapdragon ARM chipset, paired with support for Gigabit LTE and a promised 20 hours of battery life.
While the original Galaxy Book came in two variants, Samsung has seemingly ditched its 10-inch model, solely offering a 12-inch super-AMOLED 3:2 display at 2160 x 1440. Changes have mostly been made under the hood, featuring Qualcomm's new built-for-Windows Snapdragon 850 processor, paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB of storage. Familiar ports can also return, including dual USB Type-C ports, microSD, and a 3.5mm jack.
