AMD has introduced its second generation mobile Ryzen series processors, which it says are "well above the competition."
AMD has unveiled its second-generation mobile Ryzen 3000 chips, which it says perform "well above the competition." Some of the new features in the second-gen Ryzen mobile range include modern standby, 4K HDR streaming, and wake on voice, with boosted battery life.
The 12nm tech, AMD says, offers significant gains over competing Intel chips for every-day tasks such as web browsing, and more advanced productivity user-scenarios like media editing. The first PCs that feature the new chips will arrive in Q1 from the likes of Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP, Huawei, Lenovo, and Samsung, with more on the way.
