  • The Xbox Elite Controller is getting a long-awaited update.
  • Supports Bluetooth and USB-C.
  • Charging dock included.
  • Up to 40 hours battery life.
It's been the longest wait, but finally Microsoft is releasing a new version of the Xbox Elite Controller. The Series 2 has a number of improvements over its predecessor, starting with a USB-C port and, thankfully, Bluetooth for wireless gameplay on the PC, dongle-free.
The Elite Series 2 also comes with a detachable charging dock, and promises up to 40 hours of battery life per charge. The basic design remains the same, but the tech inside has had some pretty meaningful updates.
