I recently switched from Weave to NextGen reader for my news consumption, but neither appear to have a feature that I would love. While on the go, I spend very little time on WiFi. I think that it would be very cool to pre-download all of my articles (of which there are hundreds every day) at home, so that I can read them later (surface pro 3) when not connected. Is there a way to do this in either app?

Veen Reader does that. I personally use Veen Reader since a while (also switched from Weave 'cause it just doesn't work anymore) and it does exactly that, it's an awesome app :)

    Hi Blake,

I am in process of implementation a universal windows phone rss reader. It has a option to download feeds and cache articles even in background. You can check it out: Okay Reader. Also you can find latest info and updates in it's twitter @okayreader

    Thanks,
    Kiryl
