So as we all know, when you go to play a video from the app you get 3 options: YouTube, Native, and Metrotube. Is there a reason that when you click Native, it gives you options for other players like myTube?

I have no idea. I've tried YouTube and Native, and they both use YouTube. I do not see any difference.

Yep the native player has broken which means that YouTube have quietly changed something and broken my little *cough* hack *cough*. I will look into this as there are now severe problems with videos on Windows Phone 7 at the moment, given that directly launching the YouTube app appears to have been disabled.

Update: 4.3.17 due this week removes the Native player as YouTube have completely changed their service breaking the player. Options will now be external apps or the YouTube website.

And when you go to the website you are prompted to download an app that doesn't exist. Brilliant, nice going big g!
