No Notifications Windows 10 or Android?

In the beginning notifications worked fine on Windows 10 but then it got broken somewhere along the away.

I stopped receiving notifications on my surface and it would be hit and miss on my phone.

I thought it was a Windows 10 thing but recently I switched to a OnePlus 5 and I still do not receive notifications on the Windows Central App.

What's up with that? I check windowscentral.com/follow with my account and all the notification settings are on as well as on the phone.

Does anyone else have this problem?

I never got notifications on the Windows Central Android app. I use Tapatalk for Android for the forums.

Notifications worked fine for me on my windows 10 idol 4s. I got notifications for articles and replies to comments on articles. I switched to Android with the axon 7 and I don't get any notifications for the windows central app at all
